Zopo announces budget smartphone Color C3 for Rs 9,599
Chinese smartphone maker Zopo has launched the latest smartphone, Color C3 in India for Rs 9,599. The smartphone is aimed at the budget market with some additional features that are not available in basic smartphones like Multiple Accounts and PiP (picture-in-picture) video. Multiple accounts are powered by ‘Parallel Space’ where you can make a second account for apps like WhatsApp, Skype or Facebook and floating video integration where you can use other apps as your video plays on the top of everything else. You can resize the overlay to your needs while switching to other apps. The smartphone is also equipped with inbuilt Barcode and QR code scanner.
Color C3 packs a 5-inch HD IPS display with 293 PPI to give an effective resolution of 1280 x 720 and 2.5D curved glass on the front. It is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with ARM Mali T720-MP1 GPU. The smartphone will run on 1GB RAM with 16GB internal storage. The smartphone includes an 8MP SP5507 camera module with an f/2.8 aperture, an LED Flash on the back and a 2MP camera module with an f/2.8 aperture and LED Flash on the front. The device will be powered by a 2100mAh Lithium-ion battery.
Zopo C3 will run Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. The device provides Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, dual 4G LTE-enabled SIM slots (one Micro and 1 Nano SIM,) FM radio, microUSB and 3.5mm headphone jack and USB OTG regarding connectivity. Also, it will be equipped with an ambient light sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. “At Zopo, our prime focus is developing innovative smartphones that go beyond the basics, and give users more than what they expect in such devices,” said Sanjeev Bhatia, Founder and Chairman, Adcom and Channel Partner, Zopo Mobile, India, in a statement.
